Half Marathon

Set in the historical town of Kirkcaldy, affectionately known as the ‘Lang Toun’, the half marathon takes in some of the town’s famous landmarks including Beveridge Park, Dunnikier Park, Ravenscraig Park, beautiful coastal path with stunning sea views and historical Dysart before reaching the final few miles along the newly refurbished Waterfront.

Also included in the route are free hills; fast flats and downhills for that elusive PB search……

Starts: 10 am

Sunday 25th August

Beveridge Park

Trail Race

The route is approximately 5 miles and will start within the grounds of Dunnikier Park, Kirkcaldy before heading out through the gently undulating surrounding woodland areas and the tracks around the outside of the golf course, finally returning to finish in the park itself.

The route will be a mix of grass, tarmac, gravel, soft trail and field edge so consideration must be given to the appropriate footwear.

Our volunteers are.... fabulous people - they not only keep the runners safe and pointed in the right direction but they play a huge part in motivating runners through difficult times in their race and encouraging them up the tough climbs and along the straights.
